Dominikus Hierl is an independent IoT consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Telematics, Industrial IoT and wireless m2m communications.

Dominikus is currently VP Sales EMEA of Quectel Wireless Solutions, a very successful Chinese challenger of the global IoT module industry.

Until April 2016, Dominikus was serving as CEO of Telit Automotive Solutions, as well as 10 years as CMO of Telit Communications Plc, responsible for sales, marketing and product management of the group. Telit is the leading global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), providing wireless modules, connectivity and cloud backend services to the market.

Prior to joining Telit, Mr. Hierl was the Global Vice President for Business Development at Siemens Wireless Modules. He was responsible for the strategy and business development of division and a member of the management board.

Before joining Siemens AG, Mr. Hierl worked as a sales engineer at Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co.KG, a world leader in test and measurement equipment for the mobile industry.

Dominikus holds master degrees in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering from the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
